SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls’ forecast:
A potent winter storm will track across the Northern Plains through the end of this week.
This will bring a sharp transition from mild fall weather today and Wednesday, to blustery early winter conditions by Thursday night and Friday.
If you have travel plans late this week, especially to western or northern parts of the region, you will want to monitor the forecast closely, and be prepared to alter your plans if possible.
