SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Police are investigating a suspect in a crime who took off and caused an injury accident.
Police spot the suspect this morning near West 3rd and Duluth Avenue.
Though the police did not chase them, he and a woman flee in an SUV. The SUV hits another driver near 11th Street and Duluth. The SUV rolls,
The suspect and the woman get out of the rolled vehicle and take off on foot.
Police catch the woman, they don’t catch the male suspect.
The driver of the car they hit went to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect remains at large.

Sioux Falls, South Dakota: On 10/07/2019 at around 0921 hours Officers attempted a traffic stop near W 3rd / Duluth Ave on a known suspect reference a call for service. The vehicle, a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado, fled from Officers, with Officers choosing not to pursue. Despite this the vehicle fled southbound at a high rate of speed and ultimately crashed into an unrelated motorist in a Kia Optima at 11/Duluth. This subject was ultimately transported to an area hospital with non life threatening injuries. The Silverado rolled and came to rest on the southeast corner, and two occupants fled the scene. A female occupant was located nearby and after checking the area, the male driver was not located. Areas nearby were checked including a neighborhood near 17th and Duluth Ave, where he was last believed to have been seen. The investigation is ongoing.
