DES MOINES, Iowa (KELO.com) — If you want to see the height of fall colors in northwest Iowa, you only have about another week.
The Iowa Department of Natural Resources says the peak colors for the top one-third of Iowa–which includes northwest Iowa–ends next week.
The IDNR says walnut and elm trees are starting to turn yellow in northwest Iowa.
