SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Street construction update:
Lane Closure – Kiwanis Avenue
Beginning on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, the inside northbound lane of Kiwanis Avenue will be closed at McClellan Street to allow crews to perform concrete pavement repairs. Northbound traffic will be maintained in the outside northbound lane. Southbound traffic will not be impacted.
Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed within one week.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Lane Closures – 41st Street and Kiwanis Avenue
Beginning on Sunday, October 6, 2019, utility and pavement repairs will begin in the intersection of 41st Street and Kiwanis Avenue. At least one lane of traffic will be maintained in all directions during construction. No left turns will be allowed from westbound 41st Street onto southbound Kiwanis Avenue. All other turning movements will be maintained during construction.
All work is expected to be completed within one week with favorable weather conditions.

Street Closure – Prairie Avenue
Beginning on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, Prairie Avenue will be closed between Sixth Street and Seventh Street to allow crews to perform concrete pavement repairs. Motorists should utilize Summit Avenue or Trapp Avenue as alternate routes.
This work is anticipated to be completed in one week.
