YANKTON, S.D. (KELO.com) — A legislative committee looking at the operations of the nursing home unit at the Human Services Center will meet again this week.
Representative Jean Hunhoff of Yankton is Chair of the “Redefine Nursing Home Criteria” interim committee.
Hunhoff says they will also hear what other states are doing with their fragile populations.
Hunhoff says she thinks it will be helpful to hold the two-day meeting on the Human Services Center campus.
Hunhoff says they will meet again later this fall to come up with any legislative suggestions.
