SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — This time, it was stolen pistols from a locked vehicle instead of an unlocked one.
Sioux Falls Police are investigating the theft of two pistols from a truck late Thursday night or early Friday morning.
The owner says he locked his truck.
However, the thief left a shotgun and a semi-automatic rifle, also in the truck, alone.
Typically at the weekday morning police briefing, public information officer Sam Clemens details incidents where firearms are stolen from unlocked vehicles, not locked vehicles.
