Officials are asking that motorists DO NOT DRIVE AROUND BARRICADES.
Local roads have also been hit hard by flooding and may not be an option to get around flooded state highway routes.
Drivers should check www.safetravelusa.com/sd or call 5-1-1 before traveling to plan your route, allow plenty of extra time to reach your destination and be prepared to alter your route as flood and road conditions are continuously changing. Please note, county, city, and township closures are not shown on this map.
