SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The City of Sioux Falls has released drone video of the widespread damage from the tornado-laced storm.
National Weather Service Forecaster Todd Heitkamp says three tornadoes briefly touched down overnight, one along 41st Street, another at the Avera Health Campus, and the third near 85th Street and Western.
They packed winds of 130 miles per hours.
Heitkamp says the storm caused at least some damage over three-quarters of the city.
