SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A severe storm that included a reported tornado left a path of damage through Sioux Falls.
LeeAnn Sheggeby lives on 5405 Seabrook Circle, at 57th and Prairie Green, in Sioux Falls.
After bringing in her big potted plants, the wind really picked up, according to LeeAnn.
She was in her basement when she started looking out the windows.
“There was a huge tree going right across our lawn.”
“I walked into the kitchen and we have this huge kitchen window. And there was a huge tree pushed all up against that window,” said LeeAnn.
And these were big, healthy trees. An Oak tree and Birch tree. They’re now both uprooted and lying on the ground.
Thankfully, they didn’t crash through any windows.
LeeAnn said she never lost power during the storm.
