SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Xcel Energy reports about 300 outages and 12,000 customers affected by the storm and tornado that came through south Sioux Falls late this evening.
There are also outages reported in Dell Rapids, Lennox, Canton, Bridgewater and near the intersection of I-90 and I-29.
The utility did not have an estimated time when power would be restored.
KELO.com News talked to one man at 33rd Street and Blauvelt who was without power. He was listening to KELO Radio’s weather coverage from KELO-TV on a transistor radio.
