SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A severe weather outbreak is possible over much of the northern plains later today and tonight.
Jen Hacker at the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls says it could be a late evening for strong thunderstorms.
Hacker says a couple of weather systems will collide, setting off the severe weather.
She says a number of areas could get heavy rain.
Hacker says many of the same areas could seen another round of strong storms tomorrow night.
