SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The Faith Temple Church will be having a food giveaway Friday, September 6, from 4 pm until it’s gone!
On Friday, September 6th at 4 p.m., the Faith Temple Church food giveaway will once again take place at the NORDSTROM/JOHNSON BUILDING on the Northside of the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds. Faith Temple Church is continuing the weekly food giveaway for families who are struggling.
At least 30,000 lbs. of produce, bakery items, and meat are expected to be given away.
The food giveaway is running short on boxes. PLEASE bring your re-useable cloth bags, boxes, laundry basket or tubs to take home with you.
Please bring empty clean egg cartons. The food giveaway has been getting eggs but they don’t come in the cartons so if you could bring empty one dozen cartons that would be very helpful.
The giveaway starts at 4 until the food is gone (about 5:30 pm). Volunteers are always needed and welcome! Volunteers please come at 3 and should be done by 6.
