SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — If the Sidewalk Arts Festival isn’t your thing, check out Germanfest.
The event kicks off Saturday at 1:00 pm at Fawick Park in Downtown Sioux Falls.
Barefoot Becky & the Ivanhoe Dutchman kick off the live music beginning at 2 p.m. and Alpensteme play at 6 p.m.
The kinder (children) area will host a puppet show at 2 and 3 pm.
Dakota Dachshund will have Wiener Dog Races starting at 4:30 p.m. with all proceeds going to Dakota Dachshund Rescue.
The event will also feature authentic German food with other food vendors available.
And it wouldn’t be GermanFest without beer.
