SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Former Sioux Falls Mayor Mike Huether has a new book out.
It’s titled ‘Serve. Lead. Win.’
Huether says the book is largely about how government can get things done, but the lessons learned can apply in all areas of life.
“Your sports team that you coach. The church that you lead. You know, the school that you care about. The kids that you love, or, yeah, that government that you’re so hungry to make a difference in.”
Huether said the book covers his life, his business career, and his public service for eight years as mayor of Sioux Falls.
A blurb on the cover from Tom Brokaw touts how the book explains the difference between politicians and public servants.
“There is such an appetite to get things done in government,” Huether tells Kelo.com News.
Huether served as mayor of South Dakota’s largest city from 2010 to 2018.
