SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls forecast:
Windy conditions are expected today, with occasional gusts of 35 to 40 mph this afternoon.
A few spotty showers may drift through southwest Minnesota this morning, but otherwise, the day will feature more sun than clouds.
Warmer air moves in through Thursday, but this will be quickly followed by a touch of fall as we head into the Labor Day holiday weekend.
The cool-down will be accompanied by showers and a few storms Friday into early Saturday, mainly in areas south of I-90.
