SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) – Animal control is looking for a dog that bit a young girl Friday night.
The girl was with her grandmother at Bakker Park when she asked the person walking the dog to if she could pet the animal.
Animal control needs to verify the vaccinations of the animal.

On Friday, August 16 at approximately 8 pm a young girl was playing with her grandmother at Bakker Park, 6201 W 61st Street. A woman was walking with her dog on a leash. The girl asked to pet the dog and when she bent down the dog bit her on the lip, leaving a small puncture.
The dog is described as a chunky, 25-30 lb long-haired, older black and white dog that was possibly wearing a blue leash and collar. The dog owner was described as a darker haired woman in her 50’s or 60’s wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and glasses.
