SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The Environmental Protection Agency has compiled gasoline prices since 1993.
The lowest price between then and nationally for a gallon of gas of $1.07 on April 5, 1993.
The highest was $4.15 on June 30, 2018.
This week, the EPA says the average price is $2.71/gallon.
But you can find gas that’s cheaper than that in Sioux Falls.
GasBuddy.com says Sinclair on West Madison Street and the Food N Fuel on North Kiwanis Avenue are the lowest at $2.35/gallon. Costco is two cents behind at $2.37.
A number of Sioux Falls area filling stations are selling unleaded regular at $2.39.
