SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Police say an internal review is underway of the force used in arresting a man, caught on video.
The cops were investigating a crash scene, being videotaped by someone, when a man just shows up and starts yelling and cursing at the officers, and giving them the finger.
Eventually, the cops wrestle Mark Allen Burgess to the ground, as the man taking the video screams at them, accusing them of arresting Burgess simply because he was speaking his mind.
Burgess is charged with obstruction, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
This guy has had run-ins with the police before. In fact, on the video, Burgess claims that he’s been arrested 35 times.
A police spokesman says an internal review is always conducted whenever force is used in an arrest.
