SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded to an early-morning fire Monday in southeast Sioux Falls.
The fire started in a garage at a home near 57th Street and Cliff Avenue around 3:30 this Monday morning.
Authorities say no one was hurt. The full extent of the damages is still unclear, but the garage appeared to be nearly completely destroyed.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.

At approximately 3:30 AM Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded to a report of a structure fire. Neighbors reported a house that was fully involved in fire and Sioux Falls Fire Rescue units arrived to discover an attached garage that was fully involved in fire. Residents had exited the structure prior to responder arrival.
Sioux Falls fire crews confined the fire to the garage and extinguished the main body of fire within approximately 10 minutes. Fire crews conducted a search of the structure to check for any other persons and to check the structure for extension of fire into the home. Two cats were found in good health and were reunited with the residents.
Sioux Falls Fire Rescue remained on scene for approximately three and a half hours conducting an investigation and extinguishing hot spots. Seven Sioux Falls Fire Rescue units responded with 20 people. Two Fire Chaplains were also on scene assisting the displaced residents. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. There were no civilian or responder injuries.
