SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) – A warm and humid Sunday afternoon is in store for the Sioux Falls area. Highs will be in the 80’s around the area.
Some showers and thunderstorms may develop overnight Sunday into Monday.
The National Weather Service says that there is a slight chance for severe weather for much of the state to the west and north of Sioux Falls Sunday. This does include western South Dakota, so if you are headed to Sturgis, keep an eye on the weather. Pierre, Mobridge and Aberdeen are included.
The chances for severe weather move to the southeast for Monday. Sioux Falls is in the slight chance for severe weather Monday afternoon, with a better chance to the south and east in northeast Nebraska and northwest Iowa.
More cool weather will be in the area through the week, with highs in the upper 70’s later in the week.
