Jordyn’s
cancer journey began at the age of 6 months when her parents noticed a lump on
her head. Since that time, Jordyn underwent
several surgeries, chemo treatments, a bone marrow transplant, etc. Her parents and siblings handled this time
with grace and faith. They even stood
strong in the face of being told Jordyn was considered terminal when she was
just a baby. Once deemed terminal,
Jordyn enrolled in an experimental trial and beat Neuroblastoma.

An amazing
family. They’ve battled their daughter’s cancer, endured their father, Justin,
being deployed for a year, and also endured being told Jordyn had a different
form of cancer because of the experimental treatments used to save her
life. Jordyn was diagnosed with
Osteosarcoma, a bone cancer, in 2013.
Due to the tumors spreading aggressively, treatment was stopped in
February, 2014. The family did hospice
at home, keeping Jordyn as comfortable as possible and making as many memories
as they could in the time that remained. Jordyn Kate earned her angel
wings on March 20, 2014.
