Pierre, SD (KELO.com) — The next winter clipper is expected to bring wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour to South Dakota tonight and Wednesday. The strongest winds are expected in Sioux Falls after sunset. Temperatures in the 40s and 50s should start to melt some snow before it arrives — but the high winds could result in blowing and drifting snow. More snow is expected Wednesday and Thursday in the western part of the state.
