PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — South Dakota’s unemployment rate remains rock steady at two-percent, less than half the national rate. At the same time, the Labor force and the number of people working are both growing – signs of a strong economy. Nationally, the unemployment rate dropped slightly from last month, going from 4.3 to 4.2 percent. That’s still four-tenths of a percent higher than one year ago.
