SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Sanford Health is working on a merger with Marshfield Clinic Health System in Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. Sanford CEO Bill Gassen says the merger provides opportunity to solve the pressing challenges facing rural health care. Over the past decade, Sanford Health has invested over $1.5-billion in communities across the Dakotas, Iowa and Minnesota.
