About the Show

Medical Line is Sioux Falls' longest running local medical show, celebrating 30 years on the air! Long-time Sioux Falls physician, Dr. Jerry Walton, shares the latest health news and answers listeners questions every week.

Dr. Walton has served on the founding Board of Directors of the (Sioux Falls) Family Practice Residency and on the USD School of Medicine Foundation board. He has held numerous other committee positions with the School of Medicine. He has served Sanford Health as chairperson of the Family Practice Section for two separate two-year terms, as well as multiple other leadership roles. He has held a variety of offices in both the State Medical Association and the SDAFP. Dr. Walton was also chosen South Dakota Family Doctor of the Year in 1990.
