Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM) Republican U-S Senate Candidate Annette Bosworth held an emotional news conference Tuesday in Sioux Falls to reveal the dirty words and graphic terms she says are used against her on the internet.
A sometimes tearful Bosworth stood in front of a wall covered with the words and terms that she called hateful and hurtful. She says no person should have to endure it. Even her ten-year-old son has seen them and brought them up to her when he googles her name on the internet.
She says these are the kind of things often said about women in politics, especially conservative Republican women.
Five Republicans are running in the June 3 primary, each hoping to make it through to November to face Democrat Rick Wieland, for the U-S Senate seat of the retiring Tim Johnson.
