Undated (KELO-AM) South Dakotans are the third worst tippers in the country, according to an extensive analysis by the payment service 'Square'.
Square analyzed tens of millons of transactions across the county. When customers left a tip, the three highest averages as a percentage of the bill were in Alaska (17%), Arkansas (16.9%), and North Carolina (16.8%).
The three worst tipping states were Delaware (14%), Hawaii (15.1%) and South Dakota (15.3%)
Just for the record, North Dakotans were the eighth worst tippers in the country.
