SIOUX FALLLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - His campaign bumper sticker reads “God, guns and Gordon.”
Independent candidate for U-S Senate in South Dakota Gordon Howie of Rapid City says it’s time to focus on principle.
Howie accuses party politicians of lacking principle and worrying only about gaining personal power.
Howie is in Sioux Falls meeting with supporters and hoping to attract some campaign support.
Howie ran for governor of South Dakota four years ago with current Sioux Falls City Councilman Kermit Staggers as his running mate.
Howie faces Democrat Rick Weiland, Republican MIke Rounds and Independent Larry Pressler in November.
