Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) - The U.S. Attorneys for North and South Dakota are restructuring or adding to their staff to focus on health care fraud cases.
According to the Argus Leader, South Dakota U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says he has restructured his staff to allow criminal and civil division lawyers to devote more time to investigate fraud.
Johnson recently settled an alleged fraud case involving two doctors at Sanford Health in Sioux Falls.
North Dakota U.S. Attorney Timothy Purdon has added a special prosecutor working on Medicare fraud.
