Sioux Falls, SD (KWSN)- With the 2014 season quickly approaching, the Storm is pleased to announce some powerful finishing touches to the pre-season roster.

Returning to the Storm is defensive back Stewart Franks. Over the past four years, Franks (6’3”, 230lbs) has played in 46 games, accumulated 193 tackles, and hauled in 16 interceptions, which places him fifth on the Storm’s all-time interception list. Franks played collegiately at the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff as a free safety and return specialist for the Golden Lions.

Corey Surrency (6’6”, 220lbs) will add an additional threat at the wide receiver position for the Storm. Surrency played for a year at Florida State University after transferring in from El Camino Community College. During his time as a Seminole, Surrency played in eleven games for FSU, tallying four touchdowns and averaging 19.8 yards per catch, which was best on the team. Most recently, Corey played for the Nebraska Danger of the IFL.

South Dakota State alum Chris Tracy (6’3”, 230lbs) will be joining the Storm this season at the linebacker position. In the 2012 season, Tracy played in 13 games and recorded 57 tackles, including 42 solo tackles and 7 tackles for a loss. He also tallied 1.5 sacks, one interception and one fumble recovery in his senior season.
