Undated (KELO-AM) A new state-wide poll of the Republican U-S Senate primary has Mike Rounds way out in front of the crowded field with 61%, but the Rounds campaign paid for the poll.
Pollster Glen Bolger with Public Opinion Strategies in Washington DC says the results are fair and accurate because campaigns depend on accurate numbers and if he didn't supply them, he would be out of work.
Rounds with 61% support is followed by Stace Nelson at 14%, Annette Bosworth's 8%, Larry Rhoden's 7% and Jason Ravnsborg's 1%. Nine percent (9%) were undecided.
The poll also shows that Rounds picks up strong support from even from very conservative Republicans (61%) and from Republicans who have a favorable opinion of the Tea Party (65%).
