SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls will expand 41st Street from two to four lanes between Sertoma Avenue and Ellis Road next year.
Project Engineer John Osman says the road will be closed during construction and maintaining access to homes and business is a priority.
Osman says an open house will be held Thursday afternoon at Prairie West Library. Osman says there will not be a presentation. He says there will be a design plan available to see and the project tema will be available for questions and comments He say says typical questions include how to get in and out of the project.
Osman says the bid date on the project is set for late January. Construction will start in the spring with a planned completion date in November 2014.
The open house is from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30.
