Sioux Falls, S.D. (KELO-AM) - Gov. Dennis Daugaard will be in Sioux Falls Thursday to officially sign SB 186 creating Good Earth State Park at Blood Run. The signing will take place during a public ceremony at Cherepa Place third floor conference room at 4:30 p.m.
The Governor will be joined by Dick Brown, South Dakota Parks and Wildlife Foundation, and Jeff Scherschligt, South Dakota Parks and Wildlife Foundation Board Member.
The Good Earth State Park is nestled along a beautiful stretch of the Big Sioux River and is located only 10 miles from Sioux Falls. It will be the state's 13th state park and the first designated in more than 40 years.
