John Kerry, Then and Now

by Jerry Bader

It's hard to comprehend the war-mongering stance of the Obama administration when you consider the positions its key players took a decade ago when the war in question was one with Iraq. This 2004 Bush for President ad reminds of John Kerry, vintage 2004:

And Hot Air points out how different that sounds from Secretary of State Kerry.

Saddam used chemical weapons too, but that seemed irrelevant then. And use of these horrible weapons is nothing to dismiss lightly. But this "go it alone" attitude is exactly what Kerry railed against a decade ago. In fact, the Obama administration is far more on an island than was the Bush administration. And the key, unanswered question is: what is the objective of military action? What is the goal. How can you know you're on the right road if you don't know your destination?
