Long-time listeners know of my love for outdoor photography, especially at sunset.
I started taking photos about four years ago and absolutely love it. I find my time behind the camera to be peaceful and serene. It's healing for me.
I really enjoy taking photos, but absolutely love sharing them with others. I thought you might appreciate seeing some of my photography here at KELO.com.
This is a photo I took recently while on vacation. If you live in the Sioux Falls area, you may have caught the beautiful sun pillar on the evening of December 30th.

I wish time would have allowed me to better frame and plan the foreground of the photo, but I was racing out of town to get an image before the sun went down. This photo was taken just outside Harrisburg.
This sun pillar wasn't as long as some I've seen, as they often shoot through the sky like a beacon. However, the width of this sun pillar was striking and, to my eye, very beautiful.
