ASHLAND, NE (KELO.com) — You may have heard that some Coronavirus victims have been sent to Nebraska for quarantine.
That puts them 3 hours from Sioux Falls in the town of Ashland, about halfway between Omaha and Lincoln.
At least 57 Americans with the Coronavirus have been quarantined in Ashland.
But why Nebraska?
Nebraska Medicine and the University of Nebraska Medical Center say they have led the world in treatment, training and quarantine methods for highly infectious diseases ever since handling the treatment of three patients with Ebola in 2014.
