by Bill Zortman

Adam Scott and John Miller made the trip to Augusta this week for the practice rounds at The Masters. While he didn't get on the course because of weather on Monday --- he met with Steve Bowditch who won the Valero in San Antonio at a golf simulator.

Tuesday Great South Dakota Scott was on a golf course -- before heading toMagnoliaLanehe enjoyed another Augusta course.

Wednesday Adam told our audience fromAugusta his namesake is in his fantasy line-up this week -- Bowditch is not. He called the course soft --- but a feeling for him like no other ---just walking the fairways and looking where the Eisenhower tree was.

Dave Austadin studio joined Adam by as we talk about the Par 3 Tournament which is today and that Matt Kuchar won lost in a playoff last week vows to win that tournament and the Masters. If he does -- that will be the first in Master's History. Mr. Austad opened his 10th store Monday night in Cedar Rapids --andwas in great spirits with near 80 expected today.

Randy Derheim--Pinnacle looked at living up to expectations in life -- the golf course and at his restaurants. As part of Master's Week you can watch the Masters from Elements on 8th and enjoy the traditional Master's sandwich --- egg salad and a drink for a five spot. You may see Mr. Austad, Mr. Derheim, and Mr. Zortman there at 11:00 or so on Thursday or Friday.

Dr. Tim LeeBurton who called Tiger's ailments and his AWOL time -- joined us to answer with all the walking wounded at the Master's how do you know the dangerous players from those that shouldn't pick up a club. His Speciality Orthopedics staff can give you help as you head into the outdoor golf season with a vengeance.

Dr. Max Reinecke--Reinecke Chiropracticamswer golf injury questionincluding which is more common in golfers -- the tennis elbow or golfers elbow. The answer tennis elbows.

Project 1 --Dave and his tutor Paul Doherty Golf Etc won the week last week. Dave finished first --but he is in amateur status with Paul winning as the professional.

They'll continue the work -- club by club to decide what's in and what's out of his bag. Dr. Tim went by Golf Etc and drew praise from the Doctor of Bagology. He said the clubs were well fitted. LeeBurton was curious about what Golf Etc does --- and said that he is no longer curious just an advocate now that a visit will help any game and get you the most out of your clubs.

Here's the picks for the week --- there are 24 first time players in the field of 90 or so this week -- but few of them -- except Harris English and Jimmy Walker drew votes of confidence from our golf panel.
